Kisling Nestico and Redick (KNR) is one of the largest personal injury firms in Ohio and comprises over 100 staff and 10 locations. KNR has advocated for victims of negligent driving and recovered more than $450 million in settlements and verdicts since the law firm’s start in 2005.

The firm has personal background in the industry, which is based on a near-fatal traffic incident suffered by founding partner Rob Nestico at the age of 15. Kisling Nestico and Redick also has the advantage of professional background in the insurance industry, which allows it to outmaneuver insurance companies who often work against KNR’s clients. This has contributed to Kisling Nestico & Redick’s track record, for which it has been recognized in the industry by Super Lawyers and for which it has eared a place in the Top 100 Lawyers in Ohio.

In 2019, Kisling Nestico & Redick was also recognized in the 23rd Webby Awards, a panel of media judges on visual, audio and digital communications, for its website design. KNR prides itself in creating an easily managed site for background and information on KNR and for getting answers to legal questions. The award was in the legal category, which was regarded by The New York Times as the highest honor on the Internet.

Based on its concern for distracted driving and consequent accidents caused by negligence, Kisling Nestico & Redick has launched a Stop Distracted Driving Scholarship, which awards a $5,000 scholarship to a high-school student who can propose the best solution to distracted driving. The 2019 scholarship to the Savannah College of Art and Design went to Elianna Norin who created a public service spot comparing driving blindfolded to a driver’s similar lack of awareness while texting.

Kisling Nestico & Redick also carries on its purpose of personal injury advocacy to charity work and public involvement, such as participation for six years running in the Portage Lakes Polar Bear Jump with an accumulated amount of $138,000 raised for charity. KNR also recognizes a need for adequate nutrition in Ohio, noting that one child in five in Cleveland requires assistance and that 83,000 have no means of replacing free school lunches during summer breaks. In response, Kisling Nestico & Redick initiated the KNR Cares organization which sponsors shopping for staple foods distributed by the school system. KNR is also involved in Thanksgiving programs and makes contributions to the Ronald McDonald House and to the Akron Rotary Camp and has raised more than $300,000 for food and charity in the state of Ohio.
